Our online facility includes a comprehensive pre-treatment process that cleans and phosphate coats parts before painting. This process consistently achieves 1000 hours in neutral salt spray testing, ensuring exceptional corrosion resistance for outdoor environments and significantly extending the longevity of finished products. This facility is ideal for processing large quantities of parts, each weighing up to 25 kg. We provide various finishes in RAL and British Standard colors to meet your specific requirements.
For larger, one-off items, our off-line facility is the perfect solution. It accommodates items up to 6 meters by 2.5 meters by 2.5 meters, with the same thorough pre-treatment process, but without the size and weight limitations of our online system.

At Staffordshire Powder Coating, we use only high-quality metal grit and shot, unlike other media such as sand or glass. This ensures excellent adhesion through the surface profile created and is highly effective at removing existing coatings and finishes, not just rust and mill scale.
We offer two advanced blasting systems:
Automatic Blasting Machine: Ideal for batch processing, this system efficiently handles larger quantities of smaller items, preparing them for final coating.
Full-Sized Blast Room: Designed for manual blasting, this facility can accommodate items up to 6 meters in length.
Both systems enable us to achieve a blasting profile of S.A 2.5 (Swedish standard), meeting the stringent requirements of the automotive and industrial industries.

Quality Guaranteed
The powder we use is comprised of a polymer resin with colour pigments, a curing agent plus several other additives. When mixed and cooled it’s ground down into a powder.
The process then needs an electric charge to attract the powder to the metal with good adhesion. When heated the chemical reaction strengthens the layer to give a strong high-quality finish.
Powder coating is the ideal protection for metal, as it repels corrosive materials such as chemicals and water, whist maintaining its aesthetic appearance.
Depending on the circumstances, powder coating, when applied correctly will last as long as 20 years.
